Educational Institutes, Schools & Coaching Classes Closure 2022 Updates


New Delhi: Several cities and states including Delhi, Mumbai, Odisha, Punjab and West Bengal have announced the closure of schools, colleges and other educational institutions, amid a surge in the number of COVID cases in the country, including Omicron Edition. The UP government on Tuesday passed order to closure of all schools up to class 10th till January 15 2022 and also extended the night curfew by 2 hours. The Karnataka government has also decided to close schools and pre-university colleges for two weeks except for students of class 10 and 12.

Meanwhile, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) have decided to conduct the Term 2 board exams in March-April, months of 2022, and the datesheets for these exams will be released soon. Some of the state educational boards including MP, Maharashtra and Bihar have already released the 2022 board examination dates.
