Diploma in Library Course Holder can find job opportunities in educational sector, organisation, institution, libraries, corporate libraries, research organizations, and government or non government agencies. They can also pursue graduation or higher education in library and information science or related fields such as information technology, digital libraries and knowledge management. It is an interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary field that applies the practices, approaches, and tools of management, information technology, education, and other fields to libraries; Collection, organization, preservation and dissemination of information resources. The course is 1 year long and is divided into 2-semesters, each conducted at intervals of 6 months. After being successful in this course, candidates have got jobs related to planning and coordination of financial operations of the library.
